Who Can Enter?

Please Note This Competition Is For Amateurs Only.
Not For Professionals.

Must be within the ages of 18 - 35 years old.

 

Botswana Citizens  Only

 

Minimum JSSC.

No prior formal training or qualification within the culinary industry.

 

 The competition closes after the first 1000 entries have been received. 

A Top 50 contestants will be selected from all the applications received. These contestants will further be challenged to a home cooking challenge, and our judging panel will select a Top 20 based on the results. 

 

The Top 20 contestants will cook off at a live event to progress further for their spot in a week long master class learning invaluable skills, and more importantly,  to qualify for the Top 8 who will compete at the BelServest  National Amateur Culinary Competition.

Our Top 8 contestants, after completing a week of Master Class Training,  will cook off live for 3 Independent Industry Professional Judges, cheered on and supported by VIP guests, BelServest Board and staff, sponsors, media and invited guests.

In this showdown, contestants compete in 3 rounds: Serving an Appetizer, Main Meal and Dessert to each of the 3 judges. Contestants use ingredients from a mystery box. Each round has a time limit, and will leave the best chef standing by process of elimination.
